A FORCED VENTILATION SYSTEM FOR CLIMATE CONTROL IN GREENHOUSES.

A system for climate control in naturally ventilated greenhouses is disclosed. More particularly, a fan-tube based system for climate control in naturally ventilated greenhouses comprising an exhaust fan attached with a perforated distribution tube/pipe placed at a suitable height along the length/width of the greenhouse. The is suitable for hot and humid climatic condition, specifically where the openings in the greenhouse walls are covered with Insect Proof (IP) net causing very low inside air flow rate. The size and number of tubes, fan capacity etc are selected dependent on temperature difference, natural air speed & direction, crop inside, and finally design of the greenhouse. The system normally sucks warmer air from inside through its holes from the greenhouse uniformly due to the pressure gradient created by the exhaust fan and throw it out thus reduces the inside air pressure and increase the air exchange rate. The system can also serve for blowing in air for heating or cooling of inside of the greenhouse.
