The present invention relates to a phytochemical(s) rich herbal extract. In particular, the invention provides a flavonoid and phenolics rich extract from plant(s) belonging to family comprising but not limited to Elaeocarpaceae. The invention also provides an effective process for obtaining phytochemical(s), particularly flavonoid and phenolic rich herbal extract with efficient anti-Candida and anti-oxidant properties.
