A foot bar driving mechanism for a bicycle, a scooter, a tricycle or a similar vehicle. The driving mechanism comprises a supporting shaft hole (11), a driving component (12) and a foot bar (13). A bicycle using the foot bar driving mechanism is further provided. The foot bar driving mechanism has the advantages of being scientific in structure, simple in design, flexible, reliable, smooth in operation, easy to produce, low in cost and the like. When force is applied to a crankshaft by the foot bar, the rotating radial line forms a negative angle and forward thrust is generated to drive a driving wheel to rotate clockwise and therefore the problem that a chain wheel-crank structure can not easily form unidirectional rotation is solved.
