METHOD FOR ONLINE FITTING AND ONLINE FITTING SYSTEM

Provided are an online fitting method and an online fitting system. The method comprises: creating a mannequin and a clothing supporting area associated with an account, and setting a forward direction for the mannequin; creating a clothing model and a corresponding force bearing area, and setting a forward direction for the clothing model; when a user is doing online fitting, determining whether or not the maximum width of the clothing model is less than the maximum width of the mannequin; if yes, then terminating the online fitting; if not, then overlaying the supporting area of the mannequin with the area of force bearing area of the clothing model, and aligning the forward direction of the clothing model with the forward direction of the mannequin, such that the clothing model covers the part of the clothing model that overlays the mannequin. By means of the method and system, the user is allowed to implement online fitting.
