METHOD FOR ONLINE GLASSES FITTING AND ONLINE GLASSES FITTING SYSTEM

Provided are an online glasses fitting method and an online glasses fitting system. The method comprises: creating a head model and a glasses supporting area associated with an account, and setting a forward direction for the head model; creating a glasses model and a corresponding force bearing area, and setting a forward direction for the glasses model; when a user is doing online glasses fitting, determining whether or not the maximum width of the glasses model is less than the maximum width of the head model; if yes, then terminating the online glasses fitting; if not, then overlaying the supporting area of the head model with the force bearing area of the glasses model, and aligning the forward direction of the glasses model with the forward direction of the head model, such that the glasses model covers the part of glasses model that overlays the head model. By means of the method and system, the user is allowed to do online glasses fitting, thereby providing the user with convenient selection of glasses suited to his facial features and shape.
