Disclosed are a method and a device to provide an indoor navigation service. The device to provide the indoor navigation service, guiding a current position of a user and a moving path in a building where the user is located, performs the method of providing an indoor navigation service. An indoor map building method comprises: a step of determining a current position of the user based on wireless access point information collected in a building where the user is located; and a step of correcting the current position of the user based on a moving distance of the user moving inside the building.
