Disclosed are a flipped learning system and a flipped learning method. Specifically, the flipped learning system evaluates the degree of acquisition of a subscriber for a teacher-centered lecture using web-based video content and performs one among advanced learning, supplemental learning, and practice learning according to the evaluated degree of acquisition of learning content, thereby enabling students to learn in accordance with their learning performance and improve students grades. In addition, the flipped learning system forms teams as populations by learning ability and evaluates the degree of acquisition of the subscriber for the lecture based on at least one among a discussion evaluation item, a presentation evaluation item, and a metacognition evaluation item provided from a teacher after a participation class for the lecture through discussion, presentation, and metacognition between the members of the formed teams and a problem-solving evaluation item through the solving of problems previously stored to correspond to the lecture after the participation class, thereby inducing the subscriber-centered participation class to fundamentally improve the immersion and interest for learning through the participation class.
