The present invention relates to a technology capable of collecting rare-earth metal by biologically degrading monazite using a phosphate-dissolved microorganism. To achieve the above, the present invention comprises: (a) a step of preparing a badge; (b) a step of inserting the monazite into the badge; (c) a step of inserting a microorganism into the badge of step (b); (d) a step of cultivating the microorganism of step (c); and (e) a step of leaching the rare-earth metal from the monazite using the cultivated microorganism of step (d). According to the present invention, the method is capable of economically collecting the rare-earth metal, simplifying the process when compared to an existing process, and preventing environmental pollution.
