The present invention relates to a composition for inducing an increase in an anthocyanin synthesis of a plant, wherein the composition includes AT1G70000 or a polynucleotide for coding the same. Moreover, the present invention relates to a recombinant vector for inducing an increase in an anthocyanin synthesis of a plant, wherein the recombinant vector includes AT1G70000 or a polynucleotide for coding the same; and to a plant transformed by the vector. Furthermore, the present invention relates to a method for inducing an increase in an anthocyanin synthesis of a plant by using the vector. The AT1G70000 or the polynucleotide for coding the same according to the present invention effectively induces a synthesis of anthocyanin in a plant, so anthocyanin can be mass-produced. In addition, it is expected that a plant can be produced as a raw ingredient of a functional food having an increased content of anthocyanin.
