The present invention relates to a crimping device for crimping a crimp type terminal for wires on a conducting portion which is exposed at a tip of an electric cable and, more specifically, to a device for crimping the crimp type terminal using an electromagnetic forming method. According to the present invention, the device for crimping the crimp type terminal using an electromagnetic forming method crimps a crimp type terminal, into which a tip of the conducting portion exposed to the outside is inserted, in the electric cable having the conduction portion composed of a bundle of electric wires by using the electromagnetic forming method to couple the conducting portion with the crimp type terminal. The device according to the present invention comprises: a shaping coil portion (110) which generates an electromagnetic force; a power supply (115) which supplies power necessary for the coil portion to generate the electromagnetic force; and a field shaper (120) which is arranged inside the forming coil portion to focus a magnetic field to a specific part, and which provides a cylindrical shaping space (121) to which the crimp type terminal is crimped. A plurality of protrusions (125) are formed on an inner circumferential surface of the field shaper, and the protrusions (125) are arranged along a circumferential direction of the field shaper. Each of the protrusions is extended to be inclined in the same direction with respect to a center axial line of the shaping space.
