digital addressable emission quantum comprising a spatial array of multi-colored pixels photonic imager. Each pixel is a vertical stack of the multi-semiconductor laser diodes, each of which can generate laser light of different colors. In each of the multi-color pixel, through a plurality of the vertical waveguide is light generated from the stack of diodes that are already coupled to each of the optical confinement region multiple laser diode contained in that device is already vertically emitted with respect to the plane of that device. Laser diode is included in each of the single pixel in the addressable individually, so that each pixel can be any combination of colors associated to the laser diode at the same time released from the on / off duty cycle that any request for each color do. Each individual multi-color pixels can emit the color and luminance values required by controlling the on / off duty cycle of the laser diode at the same time each of them.
