PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a road section line recognition device, a vehicle control apparatus, a road section line recognition method, and a road section line recognition program, which enable the determination of a level of certainty of a road section line more accurately.SOLUTION: A road section line recognition device includes: a first road section line recognition part for recognizing a first road section line pattern from an image picked up by an imaging part that images a road surrounding a vehicle itself; a second road section line recognition part for recognizing a second road section line pattern on the basis of a position of the vehicle itself on the basis of a radio wave from a satellite and map information; and a determination part for comparing between the first road section line pattern recognized by the first road section line recognition part and the second road section line pattern recognized by the second road section line recognition part, and determining a level of certainty of the position of the road section line recognized at least by the first road section line recognition part.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
