PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a safety guard for manhole work that ensures safety while working in a manhole, at the same time eliminating a need to divide a frame when inserting a hole into the manhole and preventing soiling in a surrounding area even in a case of reverse injection of water or sludge.;SOLUTION: A safety guard for manhole work includes: a circular frame surrounding a manhole and having a prescribed height from a ground surface; a hose opening formed by cutting a part of the circular frame from a top surface side toward a bottom surface side, leaving a part on the bottom surface side; a cover part fitted openably on the top surface of the circular frame; and a rubber sheet fitted on the cover part and concealing the hose opening when the cover part is closed.;SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4;COPYRIGHT: (C)2017,JPO&INPIT
