PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To properly acquire a straight zone of time series data.SOLUTION: A specimen analyzer comprises: a preparation part 11 for preparing a measurement sample; a measurement part 12 for acquiring time series data which indicates time-variant change of an optical data value; and a control part 20. The control part 20 sets a start point detection zone on a part of an acquisition period of the time series data, when the data value included in the start point detection zone satisfies a first evaluation standard related to distribution of data values, detects the data value in the start point detection zone as a start point of a zone in which the time series data transitions linearly, and when the data value included in the start point detection zone does not satisfy the first evaluation standard, sets the start point detection zone by deviating the period by a first period sequentially from the start point detection zone until the start point is detected, then, detects a data value satisfying a second evaluation standard related to linearity and is a data value which is following to the start point, as an end point of the zone, then analyzes density of a substance to be inspected included in the specimen based on the value indicating inclination of a regression line based on the data value included in a zone from the start point to the end point.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
