PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide: a method of treating a subject afflicted with multiple sclerosis or presenting a clinically isolated syndrome; and a pharmaceutical composition for implementing the same.SOLUTION: This invention provides a method comprising administering laquinimod to a subject as an add-on therapy to fingolimod represented by formula (I) or as a combination therapy agent in combination with fingolimod. This invention also provides a package and a pharmaceutical composition for implementing the method comprising laquinimod and fingolimod for treating a subject afflicted with multiple sclerosis or presenting a clinically isolated syndrome.SELECTED DRAWING: None
