VISUAL PERCEPTION RECOGNITION ASSIST SYSTEM AND VISUAL RECOGNITION OBJECT DETECTION SYSTEM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To surely detect a visual recognition object to be visually recognized by drivers, and to cause the driver to surely visually recognize the detected visual recognition object.SOLUTION: A visual recognition object to be viewed by a driver is determined based on an image acquired by a camera 1 and indicative of a surrounding state of a vehicle as a moving body. The determination of the visual recognition object is made based on a saliency model considering something to be visually recognized the instant something is viewed as the visual recognition object, a surprise model considering abnormal movements as the visual recognition object, and a normative model considering what is visually recognized by a driver's visual recognition behavior serving as a good example as the visual recognition object. The visual recognition object not present in a driver's visual line direction to be detected by an eye camera 2 is deemed as the visual recognition object happening to be missed, and the driver's visual line is guided towards a direction where missing happens (an index is displayed at a location of an object of attention happening to be missed.)SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
