PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a supply/demand adjustment device, supply/demand adjustment system, and energy supply/demand adjustment method that are capable of accurately achieving a target energy reduction amount and capable of permitting change of an energy reduction possible amount of a user.SOLUTION: A supply/demand adjustment device 101 sets an energy reduction request amount for a scheduled date and time at which reduction in an energy use amount is to be performed, so that the reduction request amount is larger than a target value; and notifies a supply/demand arbitration device 102 of the reduction request amount together with the scheduled date and time. The supply/demand adjustment device 101 receives, from the supply/demand arbitration device 102, the total amount of energy capable of being saved by a user as a response to the notification. The supply/demand adjustment device 101, as the scheduled date and time approaches, inquires of the supply/demand arbitration device 102 the total energy capable of being saved by the user at the time of the inquiry. The supply/demand adjustment device 101 lowers the reduction request amount step by step so that the reduction request amount is closer to the target value and, every time the lowering is performed, notifies the arbitration device 102 of the reduction request amount.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
