PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently remove mercury from cement kiln exhaust gas at low cost.;SOLUTION: A system 1 for removing mercury from cement kiln exhaust gas is provided that comprises: a bag filter 6 which remove dust from the cement kiln exhaust gas; an adsorbent adding device 5 which adds a mercury adsorbent A to air chambers 6d, 6e on downstream side of the bag filter; a dust recovery device which recovers dust D2 from the bag filter, the dust D2 containing the mercury adsorbent onto which mercury is adsorbed; and a mercury recovery device 7 which recovers mercury from the dust which is recovered by the dust recovery device. The mercury adsorbent is added to the air chambers on downstream side of the bag filter and causes the mercury adsorbent to selectively adsorb mercury contained in the exhaust gas and mercury contained in the dust on fine powder side having high mercury concentration to recover mercury only from the dust containing the mercury adsorbent. Thereby, mercury can be efficiently recovered at low cost. The dust D5 after mercury recovery and the dust D1 not containing the mercury adsorbent recovered from the bag filter can be utilized effectively as cement raw material by supplying the dust to a cement production process.;SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1;COPYRIGHT: (C)2017,JPO&INPIT
