PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To identify a novel insect attractant and thereby to provide an aqueous attracting insecticidal composition using the insect attractant.SOLUTION: An aqueous attracting insecticidal composition comprises an insecticidal component and an insect attractant. As the insect attractant is used sweet fruit wine which can be obtained by using grapes as a raw material through fermentation and hyperthermia aging. The sweet fruit wine includes one which is one of alcohol-fortified wine, referred to generally as baked wine or Madeira wine. Also there is provided an insect attractant comprising a sweet fruit wine obtained by using grapes as a raw material through fermentation and hyperthermia aging used as an active component.
