A subintegrum containing an abundant amount of active ingredient, its preparation, and a composition comprising it as an active principle to prevent or treat inflammation, allergy, and asthma, refers to the new inventive industrialized methods for the preparation. Of purified industrialized extracts containing more abundant active ingredients, such as catalpol derivatives of pseudolysimachion rotundum var subintegrum extract than prepared by the conventional method of preparation disclosed in the prior art and therapeutic or functional health foods comprising the purified extract to treat and prevent inflammatory, allergic or asthmatic disease. the purified extract showed more potent anti-inflammatory, anti-allergic and anti-asthmatic activity than that prepared by the conventional preparation method disclosed in the prior art through various in vivo tests such as the inhibition test. on eosinophil reproduction, release of inflammatory immunoglobulins and chemokines in plasma and bronchoalveolar fluid, as well as suppression of airway hyperreactivity and goblet cell hyperplasia in a murine model sensitized / challenged by roe. 1/1
