The invention relates to an ice cream machine (1) for producing an ice cream product (2). The ice cream machine (1) comprises a first channel (3) and second channel (4), said second channel (4) being arranged within said first channel (3), a mould (5) attached to said first channel (3) and adapted to form said ice cream product (2), and a regulator (6) arranged within said ice cream machine (1). The regulator (6) is movable between a first position and a second position to control the cross-sectional area of at least one of said first channel (3) and said second channel (4).
