Models of human spine of various levels are important adjuncts for teaching and training both for the trainee spinal surgeons and patient and relatives for explaining them about the disease process and its treatment. Available saw-bone, fiber or glass models of spine are quite expansive and are used for hands-on workshops organized by pharmaceutical companies and implant manufacturers. Author used wooden models of Occiput, cervical, dorsal, lumbar spines and sacrum models for teaching and training purposes and found it inexpensive and useful for this purpose.
