Provided is a heating transpiration aqueous insecticide composition that contains a pyrethroid based insecticidal component and an auxiliary agent for preventing a reduction in the susceptibility to said insecticidal component and that is effective for controlling mosquitoes in which the susceptibility to pyrethroid based insecticidal components has been decreased. The present invention is a heating transpiration aqueous insecticide composition that is for controlling mosquitoes in which the susceptibility to pyrethroid based insecticidal components has been decreased and that contains: 0.1 3.0 % by mass of the pyrethroid based insecticidal component; as the auxiliary agent for preventing a reduction in the susceptibility to said insecticidal component 10 70 % by mass of at least one type of glycol ether based compound having the boiling point at 150 300 ºC; and water.
