The present utility model discloses the process of producing an acid-base indicator from pandan (Pandanus amaryllifolius) leaves and gumamela (Hibiscus rosaseninsis) flowers comprising the steps collecting fresh pandan leaves and gumamela flowers using a basket; weighing equally' said leaves and flowed at predetermined ratio; chopping the leaves and flowers into small pieces; set aside; preparing a pot with solvent; putting the chopped leaves and flowers into the pot to produce a mixture; heating the mixture at a desired time until it produces a' color; cooling the mixture at room temperature; filtering said mixture using funnel and filter paper; and pouring the liquid extract into a clean bottle.
