A high throughput method for evaluation of bactericidal activity of a sample, comprising: (a) providing a non-gel sealing fluid, comprising an amount of a pathogen, a sample, an enhancer and a metabolic indicator in the pathogen, the sample and enhancer were incubated for a period sufficient to kill a sample the pathogen if the sample comprises bactericidal or opsonic activity time; (B) measuring metabolic indicator in three or more time points during a second incubation; and (c) evaluate the bactericidal activity using the measurements in three or more time points.
