Provided is a cloth for swimsuits that satisfies various properties(elongation, basis weight, thickness, ease of movement, durability in use,mechanical strength, aesthetics, and the like) required for a material forswimsuits and at the same time has a texture design that generatesmicrobubbles by which water resistance can be more reduced than beforewhen a swimmer swims wearing a swimsuit made of the cloth, the clothfor swimsuits comprising synthetic fiber multifilament yarns and elasticfibers, wherein the front surface and the back surface are water-repellent;bumps and hollows are formed on the back surface; the bumps andhollows on the back surface have a height difference of 150 µm to 650µm;and the hollows have a width of 100 µm to 5000 µm.
