In order to provide an orthopaedic implant (3) for permanent attachment tobones in thebodies of vertebrates and/or humans, in particular in order to block vertebraethereby,comprising an elongate, substantially cylindrical base body (15), whichimplant can beinserted into patients using minimally invasive treatment together with littletrauma to thesurrounding tissue, in order to sustainably improve treatment outcomes andrecovery times,it is proposed that said implant comprises an external fixing thread (11) forscrewing into thebone.
