METHOD FOR RECHARGING THE BATTERY OF A MOBILE ROBOT, SYSTEM, DOCKING STATION AND MOBILE ROBOT FOR IMPLEMENTING SAID METHOD

In order to recharge the battery of a mobile robot (20) in an environment by means of a docking station (10) placed in the environment, the method comprises the steps of: moving the mobile robot towards the docking station; emitting a wireless beacon signal from the docking station; establishing communication between the mobile robot and the docking station following the detection of the beacon signal by the mobile robot, such that the docking station collects information relating to the mobile robot; and launching an electrical recharging of the battery of the mobile robot according to the the information collected in relation to the mobile robot.
