[Problem] To accurately calibrate a biological particle counter in accordance with biological particles to be counted. A circuit adjustment unit 23 uses reference data 31 indicating a corresponding relationship between a fluorescent agent parameter value which is correlated with the fluorescent agent content in the subsurface portion of the polystyrene particles and a reference voltage value of the first signal corresponding to the fluorescent agent parameter value to determine a reference voltage value V1r of the first signal corresponding to the fluorescent agent parameter value of the calibration particles used for calibration, and adjusts the first circuit 11 so that the voltage value V1 of the first signal relating to the calibration particles is the reference voltage value V1r.
