Provided is a method for selectively manipulating a molecule. In the method, a distribution of or change in an external electric field, magnetic field or electromagnetic field is used to give a molecule a force moment or force, or to interfere with the synthesis or decomposition of a molecule. The change in an external field is congruent, complementary or similar to the sequence of an internal unit of a chain molecule, or the distribution of an external field is matched with the structure of a molecule. On this basis, any external field mode is superimposed to control molecular movement.
