[Problem] To provide an agent by which obesity can be eliminated. [Solution] A synoviolin activity inhibitor, an agent regulating fat production and an anti-obesity drug, each comprising, as an active ingredient, Engelhardtiachrysolepis roxburghiana leaves or an extract of E. roxburghiana leaves. An agent which further comprises one or more ingredients selected from among: (1) Curucma longa L. or an extract thereof; (2) Kaempferia parviflora or an extract thereof; (3) Curcuma amada ROXB or an extract thereof; and (4) Piper longum Tie2 or an extract thereof.
