A data acquisition method for an identity-based picture viewing technique, comprising the following steps: receiving an access instruction for a user to access a picture (S101); according to the access instruction, acquiring about account information of a visitor (S102); determining whether the account information about the visitor is within a friend account range of a person to be visited (S103); and if it is determined that the account information about the visitor is within the friend account range of the person to be visited, according to the access instruction, entering a picture viewing interface of the person to be visited, and sending technical usage data to a data acquisition terminal pre-set by a manufacturer (S104). The method can bring great convenience for a user operation, and can also improve the user experience. In addition, it is convenient for a manufacturer to effectively acquire the usage conditions of a related technique in time by means of timely feedback after adopting the technique.
