According to the present invention, a solid preparation (e.g., a chewable tablet, an orally disintegrating tablet, etc.), which comprises a drug, in particular, a hygroscopic drug, more specifically, a crude drug extract and/or a Chinese herbal drug extract, can be manufactured, without any problems in manufacturing, by using a dry-granulated material comprising (A) a drug, (B) a silicic acid compound and (C) a dicarboxylic acid higher alcohol monoester or a salt thereof. Also provided is a method for manufacturing a solid preparation which comprises a step for compression molding a dry-granulated material, said dry-granulated material comprising (A) a drug, (B) a silicic acid compound and (C) a dicarboxylic acid higher alcohol monoester or a salt thereof, or a mixture of the dry-granulated material with other component(s) (e.g., additive(s), etc.).
