The present invention relates to a plastic sheet cutting apparatus for a plastic sheet covering device, capable of cutting the plastic sheet used for covering plant beds rapidly and accurately, while preventing the ends of the cut plastic sheet from getting accidentally released, and when covering the plant beds repeatedly, automatically buries and fixes the plastic sheet under the ground surface. The plastic sheet cutting apparatus for a plastic sheet covering device comprises: a fixing bracket (100) which is installed on both sides of the plastic sheet covering device; a raising and cutting unit (200) which is raised vertically by a first cylinder (201a) installed on the fixing bracket and presses and cuts a plastic sheet covering the ground surface in the width direction; and a cutting and fixing unit (300) which is rotated by a second cylinder (302a) which is installed on the fixing bracket, and rips the plastic sheet cut by the raising and cutting unit (200) to assist the raising and cutting unit (200) in cutting the plastic sheet, while holding up and fixing the cut end of the cut plastic sheet. According to the present invention, the plastic sheet can be cut accurately and swiftly without being stretched and also, the present invention can prevent the ends of the plastic sheet from being accidentally released, and can greatly enhance the efficiency of the plastic sheet covering operation by simultaneously executing the process for burying the ends of the plastic sheet in the ground surface.
