The present invention relates to a method and a system to analyze volcanic activity. The method to analyze volcanic activity of the present invention to analyze activity of a volcano, comprises: a step of processing a radar satellite image to generate an interference fringe from an image shot by a radar satellite; a step of processing a time series to perform time series processing on the interference fringe, and to generate an average ground surface displacement map image which indicates an average ground surface displacement map on the surface of the volcano; a step of stacking the image to pile up the average ground surface displacement map image; and a step of analyzing to analyze a synthesized interference fringe by stacking the image, to calculate a variation of the position and volume of a volcano source on the average ground surface displacement map, and to generate an optimal model by reflecting the changed position and volume of the source. According to the present invention, the present invention is able to analyze volcanic activity using the InSAR technique and the GIS information, and analyze and observe volcanic activity more easily and precisely.
