The present invention relates to a method for manufacturing black Japanese apricot jeongkwa (Japanese apricot preserved in sugar), and to the black Japanese apricot jeongkwa manufactured thereby. According to the present invention, the method for manufacturing black Japanese apricot jeongkwa comprises the following steps: washing Japanese apricots and removing moisture; removing seeds of the Japanese apricots to obtain flesh only; adding sugar to the Japanese apricot flesh to be put into a container; fermenting and aging the Japanese apricot flesh mixed with the sugar for one year or more; steaming and fermenting the Japanese apricot flesh; and drying the Japanese apricot flesh.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2017
