The present invention relates to an apparatus and a method for a reasoning process development figure service to hierarchically divide a problem solving process to be visualized. According to an embodiment of the present invention, the apparatus for a reasoning process development figure service comprises a data storage part, a problem reception part, a node extraction part, a node searching part and a node development part. The data storage part includes: a node extraction database (DB) storing a glossary with pre-defined expression types; a node development DB storing a concept node map where a plurality of connection nodes are connected to each other; a connection link DB storing information on each connection link between nodes; and a problem DB storing problem information related to a problem. The problem reception part classifies a received problem into a condition section and a question section. The node extraction part performs conversion into an expression type of each section, which corresponds to a term of the received problem, by using the node extraction DB and extracts a condition node and a question node, which correspond to the converted expression type of each section, in accordance with the classified sections. The node searching part searches a connection node connected to the extracted condition node by using the concept node map and additionally searches another connection node different from the searched connection node. The node development part connects a condition node selected by a user terminal with the searched connection node by using a connection link, and when a connection node is additionally searched, connects the additionally searched connection node with the nodes by using at least hierarchical connection link, thereby forming a reasoning process development figure.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2017
