Disclosed are a board game set to develop cognition ability of children, capable of developing a cognition ability of children and enabling the children to make personal friends; and a game method for the same. According to the present invention, the board game set comprises: a first step of distributing same sheets of cards to each player, determining a playing order; a second step of selecting a sheet among a pile of cards remaining after distribution, and determining a reference card; a third step of comparing the reference card in accordance with the playing order of the player, and removing the possessed card of the player wherein the two or more cards matched to each other among first to fourth distinction elements displayed on a general card of first to third colors are removed; a fourth step of comparing the reference card and removing the possessed card of the player using color, number, and joker function cards; a fifth step of receiving the card one by one from the pile of the remaining card until the possessed card is able to be removed in accordance with condition in the second step and the third step if the possessed card of the player cannot be removed; and a fifth step of repeating the second step to the fifth step in accordance with a player play order playing the game until one among the players removes all of the possessed cards.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2017
