The present invention relates to a system for IoT environment construction and safety management of a resident in a home based on a beacon network. According to an embodiment of the present invention, the system for IoT environment construction and safety management of a resident in a home based on a beacon network comprises: a mobile terminal carried by a person to be protected in a wearable device form; a smart plug to supply or block power; and an attachable terminal attached to an accident risk object linked to the smart plug or to the vicinity of the accident risk object. A Bluetooth low energy (BLE) module is loaded in the mobile terminal, the smart plug, and the attachable terminal. The mobile terminal periodically transmits a packet of a Bluetooth low energy beacon to the attachable terminal and the smart plug. The attachable terminal uses strength of the Bluetooth low energy beacon to calculate a distance to the mobile terminal. The smart plug blocks power if the calculated distance to the mobile terminal is within a predetermined distance.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2017
