Design and Implementation of the Beacon-Based Safety Management System for Construction Industries

In this paper, we use a beacon to inform the smartphone of a worker who approaches a hazardous area in order to protect the user (operator) from the risk factors at the construction site. The form of notification uses Google’s Firebase Cloud Message (FCM), voice, and vibrationcapabilities. The history of the operator entering the dangerous area is transmitted to the server, and the administrator can check via the web or the app to see who, when and where. The manager can use this information to perform safety management on the construction site and prevent andimprove the risk of possible safety accidents in case of emergency.
