The present invention relates to a system for translating a medical record written with a medical term and a translation method thereof. The present invention has the following effects. The present invention can improve the accuracy of translation by performing a searching operation according to a priority. Also, a user can optionally correct a translation result with a translation unit and construct a database by storing the corrected translation, thereby improving a translation rate according as the experience of the user is accumulated. The present invention includes a medical record scan module which converts a medical record scan material into a medical record text material, a medical record translation module which translates the medical record text material from English to Korean, and the database which stores data to be translated.
