The present invention relates to a method for preparing sesame oil and sesame oil prepared thereby. The method comprises the following steps: cleaning sesame seeds in water in which ultrasonic waves are generated; drying the sesame seeds using light wave energy in a visible light range; roasting the dried sesame seeds using far infrared rays; inputting the sesame seeds cooled after roasting into an oil press, and extracting oil; mixing the extracted sesame oil with a saline solution, performing ultra-centrifugation and purifying the sesame oil; and inputting the purified sesame oil into a bottle and filling nitrogen gas. According to the present invention, by cleaning the sesame oil with ultrasound waves, residual agricultural pesticides can be completely removed without a treatment of chemicals.
