The present invention relates to a Pediococcus acidilactici SRCM 102024 strain for a starter for producing a fermented grain with excellent antibacterial activity and uses thereof. The Pediococcus acidilactici SRCM 102024 strain, which is a lactic acid bacterium, enables a user to manufacture a functional fermented grain having antibacterial activity against propionibacterium acnes and Staphylococcus epidermidis, which are skin dermatitis causing bacteria. Accordingly, fermented grain liquid, obtained by using the Pediococcus acidilactici SRCM 102024 strain, can be used as an agent for treating acne and atopic dermatitis and thus can be advantageously used as functional food and a cosmetic composition for related industries.
