The invention describes a method for finishing a visible side of an interior part of pressed fibre material. The method comprises of forming a relief in the visible side of the interior part by pressing, and arranging a coloured material at least in recessed parts of the relief, wherein the coloured material comprises a film which is pressed directly onto the visible side of the interior part.;The invention further describes an interior part of pressed fibre material. This interior part comprises a visible side finished with a relief pressed therein, wherein a coloured material is arranged at least in recessed parts of the relief, and wherein the coloured material comprises a film pressed directly onto the visible side of the interior part.
