The invention describes a method for finishing a visible side of an interior part of pressed fiber material. The method comprises forming a relief in the visible side of the interior part, and arranging a colored material at least in recessed parts of the relief. Furthermore, the invention describes an interior part of pressed fiber material. This interior part comprises a view side which is finished with a relief formed therein, wherein at least in recessed parts of the relief a colored material is applied.
