PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a novel taste improving agent which is excellent in a taste improving effect of a food/drink composition containing a high sweetness sweeter, the food/drink composition containing the high sweetness sweeter which has a taste improved by such a taste improving agent, and a taste improving method of the food/drink composition containing the high sweetness sweeter.;SOLUTION: This invention relates to a food/drink composition containing a high sweetness sweeter which contains at least one or more components selected from a group consisting of a sugar carboxylic acid obtained by oxidizing an aldehyde group on the reducing terminal side of a starch decomposition product or transfer reaction product which has a degree of polymerization of 2 or more, its salts and its lactone. This invention also relates to a taste improving agent of the food/drink composition containing the high sweetness sweeter which is composed of at least one or more components selected from a group consisting of a sugar carboxylic acid obtained by oxidizing an aldehyde group on the reducing terminal side of a starch decomposition product or transfer reaction product which has a degree of polymerization of 2 or more, its salts and its lactone.;SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1;COPYRIGHT: (C)2019,JPO&INPIT
