PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an accurately molded artificial tooth.;SOLUTION: A molding design system generates impression data on an artificial tooth to be formed, from acquired impression information (step 102); on the basis of a material to be used for molding and a baking condition, predicts a contraction amount (step 104); corrects the impression data on the basis of a result of the prediction to generate three-dimensional molding data to be used for the molding (step 106); and performs molding and baking on the basis of the molding data (steps 108, 110).
