PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accurately detect the frequency, amplitude, and phase of a sine component even when the frequency or amplitude varies.SOLUTION: An input signal is Fourier-transformed by multiplying it by a window function. For each Fourier-transformed frequency bin, the amplitude ratio and phase difference between two adjacent frequency bins are calculated. From the calculated amplitude ratio and phase difference, a bin frequency, frequency variation parameter, and amplitude variation parameter of the frequency bin are detected. Sine components are integrated from the detected bin frequency, frequency variation parameter, and amplitude variation parameter of each frequency bin. A frequency, frequency change rate, amplitude, amplitude change rate, and phase of the sine component included in the input signal are obtained.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
