PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dynamo-electric motor capable of easily correcting a balance at high precisely and a machine tool with the dynamo-electric motor.SOLUTION: A dynamo-electric motor 1 comprises: a cylindrical stator 2; a rotor 3 having a rotational axis part 31 inserted into an inner part of the stator 2; and a hosing 4 attached to an axial direction both sides of the stator 2. The dynamo-electric motor comprises: an opening part 51a which is provided to an external peripheral side surface of the housing 4 by at least one, and is arranged so as to be separated from a ventilation path 9 formed in an inner space S of the stator 2 and the stator 2; and a first balance correction component 61 that is attached to the rotation axis part 31 and corrects a balance of the rotor 3. The first balance correction component 61 is the dynamo-electric motor 1 exposed to an external part from the opening part 51a and a machine tool 10 having the dynamo-electric motor 1.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
