This derailment restoration system is equipped with: a support (10) that can be arranged so as to extend across rails (101); a moving body (11) that is movable with respect to the support (10) in the width direction of a car body (2); and a pair of lifting/lowering cylinders (12) that are installed on either end in the width direction of the car body (2) and are used to change the relative positions of the moving body (11) and support (10) with respect to the railcar body (2) in the vertical direction. One of the railcar body (2) and the moving body (11) has a main body section (21) that is installed so as to be movable in the width direction with respect to the support (10) and a slider (22) that is installed so as to be movable in the width direction with respect to the main body section (21). The pair of lifting/lowering cylinders (12) are rigidly connected to the car body (2) at one end while rotatably attached to the moving body (11) at the other end. In addition, the other end of one lifting/lowering cylinder (12) of the pair of lifting/lowering cylinders (12) is attached to the moving body (11) via the slider (22).
